I am available for just about any organizing you need done around the home or office. My specialty is working with what you’ve got, not selling you on expensive storage solutions. I keep my rates low because I want to be accessible to regular people. I carry inexpensive and effective bins and shelves in my car to expedite the process and keep your costs low. I work quickly and efficiently and eliminate distractions so you know you’re getting your money’s worth. My line of work requires flexibility, which is why I love what I do.

My background is in business administration and facilities management, so I can help you repair or install things as well as bring your paperwork up to date. I can set up a system to pay your bills, and manage your projects. If you need help with remodeling and turning your home or office into a better functioning space, call me. I have designed and installed Ikea kitchens and storage solutions. Why pay thousands for those expensive custom closet companies when more affordable solutions are available in Portland!

About me: I am a worldly woman with diverse interests and experiences. Having been raised in Germany, systems and procedures have been engrained into my brain. I have been doing Professional Organizing since I moved to Portland in early 2004 and have hundreds of satisfied clients: this is not a fly-by-night business for me! I am reliable and forthcoming, and I communicate, commit, and follow through. I am physically active and strong (lots of sports and yoga) so I can haul those boxes and climb those stairs. I'm a resourceful problem solver, and I know where to find the best deals for just about anything you need to purchase. I have a background in Social Sciences and understand challenges such as Attention Deficit Disorder, ADHD, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and other issues that keep you from focusing on getting organized. I understand the medical term “hoarder” and can work with your particular needs and limitations. I realize that people have different priorities and talents, and that everyone needs a solution tailored to them. I can provide references from satisfied clients. I live in a smoke-free and fragrance-free environment to accommodate my clients’ health needs. I love animals but prefer not to work in smoky places...

Some clients only need me a few hours, and some keep finding new things for me to work on. All clients notice a huge impact after just 3-4 hours of my work. Most home office files only take a few hours to organize. Just think of how much it will save you in late fees and grief! I will help you implement a clear and simple system that fits into your lifestyle and space. And if your life is too busy to keep up with a system or learn new habits, we can go on a Maintenance Program. There is no shame in this, sometimes life gets in the way of good intentions.
